Game Face

Terms of Service

Last updated: 3 September 2026

Game Face is a play-money poker game by TwoFifths Design Ltd (“we”, “us”), a company registered in Scotland (company number SC575802, registered office 3 Queen Street, Edinburgh, Scotland, EH2 1JE). By downloading, accessing, or playing Game Face, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Play money only

Chips in Game Face are virtual play money. They have no monetary value, cannot be cashed out, exchanged, transferred for value, sold, or redeemed for money, goods, or anything outside the app, by any player or by us. Game Face is not a gambling service: no hand, wager, or in-app purchase offers any opportunity to win real money or prizes of monetary value.

Age

You must be at least 18 to play Game Face. Game Face is an 18+ service and is not directed at children; we show a neutral age screen before play. By playing you confirm you meet this age requirement.

Your account

You can play as a guest (your chips live on your device’s anonymous player ID) or link a sign-in provider (Apple, Google, Facebook, or phone) to restore your profile across devices. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity on it. You may permanently delete your account at any time in Settings — deletion is immediate and irreversible, including any chips or items on it.

Fair play

Cheating, collusion, botting, exploiting bugs, or abusing other players is prohibited — including against any AI opponent the app offers, where it offers one (AI opponents are always clearly labelled as bots). We may reset balances gained through exploits, and may suspend or permanently ban accounts that break these rules or the conduct rules below.

Live video and conduct on camera

Live video and audio at the table are optional and are transmitted in real time only — never recorded by us; spectators watching a table see the same live, unrecorded feed. When your camera is on, you must not broadcast nudity, threats, harassment, hate, or unlawful content. Other players can mute, block, and report you, and tables can vote to remove a player. See our Safety page for how reports are handled.

Purchases — not available in this version

In-app purchases of virtual chips are planned for a future version (v1.1) and are switched off in this version of the app. This section describes how they will work once enabled: purchases will be processed and billed by Apple or Google under their own payment terms, not by us directly — we never see or store your card details. Purchases will be final; refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies — see Apple’s refund policy or Google Play’s refund policy. Nothing here will remove any refund right you have by law — see “Your consumer rights” below.

Virtual items, and what happens on a ban

Chips and every other in-app item — whether earned by playing or bought — are a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use those features inside the app for as long as your account and the service exist. They are not property, cannot be inherited, transferred, or willed to another account, and carry no cash value. Balances may be adjusted to correct bugs, fraud, or abuse. A suspended or banned account forfeits its chips and other virtual items, including any bought with real money, because those items are a licence, not property, and breaking these terms ends that licence. If an item is removed as part of a refund (for example a chargeback on a purchase, once purchases are enabled), the chips or items that purchase granted are removed from the account that received them.

Moderation, and how to appeal

We moderate reported conduct, camera behaviour, and profile photos as described on our Safety page. Where we suspend or ban an account, we act for a stated reason (for example: harassment, nudity on camera, cheating, or an offensive profile photo). If you believe a moderation action was made in error, you can appeal by emailing hello@twofifthsdesign.com with your player ID within 14 days of the action; we will review and respond with the outcome.

Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you break these terms, the conduct rules, or the law, or if we discontinue the service or a feature of it. On termination, the “Virtual items” clause above governs what happens to your balance.

Your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the law of the country you live in that cannot be excluded by agreement — including, for UK consumers, your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If any part of these terms conflicts with those rights, your statutory rights take priority.

The service, and our liability

We work hard to keep the tables open, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, and may change, be interrupted, or end at any time — including the closure of individual features, tables, or the app as a whole.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude. Subject to that, to the fullest extent the law allows: we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for the value of any virtual item or chip balance, however lost; and our total liability to you for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for in-app purchases in the 12 months before the claim arose, or £50 if you have not made any purchase, whichever is greater.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, mandatory consumer-protection laws of the country you live in may also apply and are not affected by this clause. Any dispute we cannot resolve informally may be brought in the courts of that jurisdiction, or, if you are a consumer resident elsewhere, in the courts of the country you live in where local law gives you that right.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be noted in-app or on this page, with the “Last updated” date above kept current. Continuing to play after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree with a change, stop using the app and delete your account.

If one part of these terms doesn’t hold up

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still stands. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Safety page, are the whole agreement between you and us about using Game Face.
