Poker Call

Support

Poker Call is a play-money Texas Hold’em game with live video at the table, made in Edinburgh by TwoFifths Design Ltd. Chips have no cash value and can never be redeemed: it’s poker for the love of the game.

Need help?

In the app: Settings → Help & contact → “Email us or report a bug”. It opens an email with your player ID, app version and build, and phone model already filled in (you see every line before you send it), so we can help first time. Or email hello@pokercall.live with your player ID (Settings → Account → Your player ID). We answer within one business day, and we act on safety reports within 24 hours.

It says Poker Call isn’t available in Washington State?

Washington State has unusually strict laws on casino-style games, even play money with no cash prizes, so Poker Call can’t run there. Your account and chips are safe and nothing is deleted; you can play whenever you are outside Washington. If you are not in Washington State and see this message, email hello@pokercall.live and we will look into it.

Can’t connect, or it works on Wi-Fi but not on mobile data?

You play in the app, not on this website. Open the Poker Call app on your phone (the green and gold chip icon). This website is for information only.

Works on Wi-Fi but not on mobile data? Most mobile networks switch on an adult-content filter by default, and those filters put poker in a “gambling” category, even though Poker Call is play money only with no cash prizes. The network then quietly blocks the connection. It is not your phone and not a fault in the app.

Check: turn Wi-Fi off and open pokercall.live in your phone’s browser. If your network shows a “blocked” page, it is the filter.

Fix: switch the filter off in your network’s app or account settings. Your network will ask you to confirm you are over 18, which you are, as Poker Call is 18+. For example:

  • EE: My EE app → Settings → Content Lock.
  • O2, Three, Vodafone, giffgaff and others in the UK: look for “age verification”, “content control” or “adult filter” in your network’s app or account.
  • US carriers: check for web or content filters such as T-Mobile Web Guard in your carrier’s app or account.

Or simply use Wi-Fi. We have asked the main web-filter companies to re-check Poker Call. If you are still stuck, email hello@pokercall.live with a screenshot.

Common questions

  • Are the chips real money? No. Poker Call is play-money only: chips cannot be bought out, cashed out, or redeemed.
  • Is my camera recorded? No. Live video is optional and transmitted in real time only; streams are never recorded or stored, and only the players seated at your table see them. At public tables only accounts signed in with Apple or Google can turn on a camera or microphone, and the microphone starts muted.
  • How do I report a player? Long-press their tile at the table → Report. You can also block or mute anyone, and tables can vote to remove a player, only for abuse, an inappropriate camera, cheating or deliberate disruption, and a person reviews every vote. See Safety.
  • How do I report a concern about a child? Report the player in the app, or email hello@pokercall.live with “Child safety” in the subject. If a child is in immediate danger, call the police first. See our child safety standards.
  • How do I delete my account? Settings → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
  • Is this gambling? Not real-money gambling: chips are play money with no cash value, nothing can be cashed out and there are no cash prizes. It is still a game of cards and chance for adults aged 18 and over, and chips can be bought, so every game’s odds are published and you can set a spending cap or take a break. See Responsible Play and Fair Play & Odds.

Want to delete your account? Settings → Delete account in the app, or request deletion from this site if you no longer have it installed.
